As a proud initiative under Piedmont Global Cares, Piedmont Global Academy is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the professional development of linguists in the field of interpretation. We view language as a powerful connector—bridging cultures, facilitating communication, and promoting global understanding. Our mission is to equip interpreters with the tools, training, and support they need to thrive in a dynamic, multilingual world.

Supporting CLEAR Global

Piedmont Global Cares supports CLEAR Global in its mission to break down language barriers and ensure that people everywhere can access essential information in their own language—because understanding saves lives and strengthens communities. By combining our efforts, we create a global landscape where everyone – regardless of location, economics, and situation – is heard, understood, and empowered.

Through both financial donations and in-kind contributions, we are helping CLEAR Global expand access to vital information across communities and crisis zones. As part of our in-kind support, Piedmont Global Cares donates professional translation and subtitling services in the following language pairs: French-English, Spanish- English, Russian-English, Traditional Chinese-English, Arabic-English.

Our volunteering and grant-making programs are managed through Uncommon Giving, a platform that enables employees to track volunteer hours, support causes they care about, and participate in company-backed giving initiatives.

Strengthening communities with the Human Development Fund

Human Development Fund (HDF) is dedicated to supporting communities across Kenya through targeted initiatives in healthcare, food security, education, and water and sanitation. Driven by its mission to build stronger, more resilient communities, HDF delivers critical healthcare resources, promotes food security and sustainable farming, opens doors to education, and improves access to clean water and sanitation.
